Who Am I

Born and raised in a small Mennonite town in northern Alberta, I grew up with home cooking everywhere I went. At a young age I helped in the kitchen, always enjoyed baking over cooking meals. But cooking had to take over when my husband Johnny got sick, and we had to take our health in our own hands. I developed a passion for cooking and learning new ways to do things.

My background is working in the sport industry, I enjoyed organizing all the things when it came to sporting events. I married Johnny in 2012, and together we were blessed with 4 kids in 5 years. Staying at home with my babies was now my everything.

My family and I currently live on an acreage in Central Alberta. I love learning about health and wellness, always finding new ways to support my family, who mean the world to me. I love to travel, read books, the outdoors, a nice cup of coffee, watching my kids play sports and just being around positive people.

My hope is to encourage others to not be afraid to ask questions and to think outside the box. It’s your responsibility to take care of yourself!
